Are you up for the task?
So far it seems most men aren't. So. . . here I am posting an ad versus replying to one. I am searching for a breed- because other women will have already snatched most of these men up. (At least that has been my experience thus far.) I am hoping to find a man who can be a friend, lover, confidant, goofball and just an all around good person. A man who has most of the following attributes-there are quite a few absolute must haves- I didn't quite realize I was so picky- Sorry. Not married - (separated is okay I am separated myself.) Either lives in Vacaville or immediate area. Does not want to have a family, it is okay if you already have . Someone who just gets me.. If you have EVER had that in your life, you know exactly what I am talking about. I am afraid to say, I will not settle for less again. Loves good coffee and dogs (not afraid of big dogs.) Be honest, sincere and respectful. (must have) Everyone has the days where they aren't at their best, it happens -but to just be downright nasty- again- no thank you. Someone who can appreciate the simple joys in life, not everything has to be extravagant. Have a wicked, skewed and yet silly sense of humor -- be able appreciate all levels of humor -highbrow as well as a good fart joke- funny is funny and what people find funny is as individual as the people themselves. (This is a must!!) Please have good communication skills, written and vocal. Bad grammar is fine as well as misspellings and shortening words but it has to be the correct word in the first place. The sheer power of words is pure magic, especially when they are put together correctly. I am not afraid to convey emotions, feelings, needs, likes, dislikes etc. Please try to be able to do the same. Have an inquisitive nature. I am very inquisitive- admittedly irritatingly so at times and tend to be unusual questions. Also, don't be afraid to answer questions or let me know that you don't feel comfortable answering it at that time. I will answer any question -- if for any reason I don't feel it necessary to answer one at a particular time, I will let you know. This is how you get to know people. Someone who doesn't freak out when a woman breaks down- I don't do it very often but when it happens- just need someone there who doesn't try to rationalize why I am in the condition I am in. (LOL- this is a tough one, I know but also a must.) Have somewhat of an side, I am not talking about Skydiving or extreme sports, but willing to try new things- take off to places without plans, wake up one day and just decide to go. Plans are good in most instances but not always required. Romance- ahh what every woman wants right? Yes, romance is important but it is not a one-way street. Romance should be done by men AND women. Please don't be afraid to be romanced. Celebrate holidays and birthdays. (Also a must) Okay- down to the nitty gritty- I left it to the end so if you are interested, you have at least made it this far. You want to know what I look like- I am 5'3, as for my figure- I have one. Looks are important but they aren't everything. I have light brown/blonde/greying hair, brown eyes, wrinkles and laugh lines (yes, there is a difference..) I wear reading glasses when necessary. I am not of my age, I embrace it, own it but hardly ever act it. I do have pictures but I hate having them taken because they don't represent who I am as a person. I have been told my best features are my eyes, boobs and lips. (the boobs comment got ya didn't it?? Can't get it out of your mind now can you- Yes, I have them but I am not just a pair of boobs.. LOL) I dress appropriate for my age, actually I dress much the same as I always have done -- comfy - Jeans and T-shirt most of the time, shorts in the summer. I prefer to walk barefoot but wear when I can't. I love music and to read (all genres), (also all genres), card , board etc. I don't really have a competitive bone in my body except for playing cards and Yahtzee. . . Strange I know but eh- what are you going to do? I am a bit obsessive when football season comes around. I watch every Thurs. Sun Monday night game -- especially when my team is on. I come from a very tight knit family, we are goofy, embarrassing and loving. I grew up in a family where my parents loved each other and were not afraid to show it at any time. They are the ones who taught me what love, friendship and romance are all about. I am trying to find this or as close to this as I can. People have connections, you know instantly whether or not you will click. I follow my instincts; they have never led me wrong. Life is an adventure, every day is amazing -- even the really shitty ones. I am not afraid of being alone but life is just so much better when you have someone to share it all with. I will be more than happy to ask for or send a when the time is right. Hopefully by that time, it won't be via but direct to each other.
